| Well, I can't tell u much about
them at the time being. I mean I can't tell u much about their origin and
where they belong to. Most old people who I met and asked about this tribe
told me that it must have a middle eastern origin. I heard in some news
and read in some papers that they r originally from South Jordan or some
in Syria. However I did not find a sharp evidence about that. Most of the
population is distributed around the middle east and Asia at the time being.
The biggest population is in Pakistan and Iran in the Provinces called
Baluchistan in both countries. This group of people exists in Russia, Afghanistan
and the Gulf countries too.
Well, the Arabian Gulf countries ( Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia ) got a large number of Al-Balushi or Baluch residents. They all originally belong to one land which I would call Baluchistan but so far I have no idea where exactly it was. At the moment, in most countries, people consider Baluch or Al-Balushi as a family name. Well, actually it is not a family name, but just a name given to a group of people who belong to the Land of Baluchistan. For example, if we dig into the different roots in this population then we will find different family names for different people. I can't tell more about such family names because I am still searching for more information for my own knowledge and to provide the readers and searchers with as much as I can. I have found Swedish people with a family name called Baluch too. I found some Americans Baluch too. However those people are white people and most are Cristians or have different religions. They don't know their original roots. I have been in contact with some but as they knew we are muslims they stopped thinking about it anymore!. I don't know any precise reason for that but they just stopped emailing back in order to discuss this subject anymore. Let me leave u at this point now.
