I have got lots of hobbies and always try to practice them so that I don't lose any easily. As we know having hobbies is great and it is greater to make them better and stronger. We have got many skills and lots of good thoughts and lots of tallents. We can make them stronger as we wish by practicing our hobbies. I like going out for picnics, driving long disctances, sightseeing, different sports, photography, computer and internet (can't list all what I do with a PC), talking with people, chating through the net, discussions, making friends from all around the world, ..etc. Ooooops..I forgot to mention Cooking!!. Oh yeah..I learnt cooking too while I came to UK. I have just started cooking about 4 months ago but I like it because I feel myself as have the skills for it. I could understand cooking very easily and made lots of different types of food. Well, I am seriously planning to teach Mom and my sisters when I go back home. For sure they know cooking more than me but I am going to challenge them with my poor experience with dependable skills. Actually I learnt alot in cooking in this short time I stayed in UK, because I had to do everything by myself. I guess better to forget about coooking because I am getting hungry. One of my friends told me that I mention the word Hungry alot when I talk to him and never say it when talking to others!.. I don't know why only to him!.

I have got a B.Sc. in Science/Physics from Sultan Qaboos University and studying Reliability Engineering and Safety Management in Heriot Watt University in the Capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.

My oldest brother Younis Al-Balushi works as an Assistance Manager in Habib Bank Limited, Central Branch in Ruwi. He is married and got two cute girls called Hajer and Sarah. Then the brother younger than Younis and older than me who is a school teacher in Rumais. He is married and got two cute kids too. His name is Abdel-Rasheed Al-Balushi and got his daughter Rabia and son Hashim. Then I am younger than Abdel-Rasheed and my name was Abdel-Hameed and it is Humaid now. Well, fortunately I am not married yet and who no kids too. I am 25 at the moment so still got lots of things to do before getting into the big responsibility that comes with marriage. I have got very difficult tasks to finish before getting involved with marriage and as u know the first task is finding the proper and best person who will share me my life. We r talking about the rest of my life and the whole future, so I have to be careful in choosing the one who shares me life. Any wrong step in such matters may destroy the whole life!. I have got two younger brothers too. They r Khalil and Faisal. Khalil is doing his Secondary School and hopefully he will finish it in one more year and then tries to fight future in finding the best major for him to study. So this is a very difficult period for him and he has to do lots of work and prepare himself in the best possible way to face the difficult nature of life. Faisal is still young and has done his 4th elementary year and will be going to 5th next year inshaa allah. My oldest sister is married and has four kids. They r Nada, Nawaf, Firas and Faris. Nada is in the elementary school and the rest r still young. I have got two younger sisters studying in Sultan Qaboos University. One is doing a B.Sc. in Education/House Economics and the other is doing a B.Sc. in Science/Computer Sciences. One got one more year to go and become a Secondary School teacher and the other one got 4 more years to go. Then two younger sisters whor in Secondary and Intermediate Schools. I wish them all the best and just impatient to c them now because i did not meet them since 9 months. I will be back to home soon inshaa allah and live with my nice family which I am missing to death. Time has to pass and I have to be back.
